Hi, I'm Anissa
Since 2019, caring for pets has been my full-time job. Not a side gig and not an app. It's what I do, and I'm dedicated to it.
I'm a dog mom to many, many dogs. Most of them just happen to live with other people. I know every one of them by name, along with their favorite walking routes, their treat preferences and exactly where they like a scratch.
Dogs are my specialty, but I love caring for cats, birds, guinea pigs and turtles too. And yes, I'll keep your houseplants alive while you're gone.

Why “Walks for Lucy”
Lucy came into my life in Salt Lake City. I walked and pet sat her for her first mom, and the two of us grew close. When her mom passed away from COVID, I kept my promise to look after her, and Lucy came home with me at twelve years old. She lived to seventeen and a half, followed me from Utah to Virginia, chased every cat and squirrel she could find, and never once walked past something without stopping to smell it.
We took care of each other through hard times and happy ones. This business carries her name because every pet I care for gets the same love and patience she did.
