Privacy policy
How I, Anissa, look after the information you share with Walks for Lucy. In short: I only use it to care for your pets and run my business, and I never sell it.

What I collect
- When you book: your name, phone, email, address and ZIP code, your pets' details, your dates and any notes.
- In your account: pet profiles (feeding, medications, habits, vaccination records), emergency contact, vet, and how to get into your home.
- While I care for your pets: visit notes and photos, messages between us, and bills and payments.
How I use it
To care for your pets, confirm and plan visits, keep you updated, send bills and reminders, and keep simple business records. You choose which emails you get in your account, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Who else handles it
I don't sell or share your information with anyone for marketing. A few services help run the website:
- Cloudflare hosts the website and securely stores the database and photos. It also provides the email-code sign-in and the "I'm not a robot" check on the booking form.
- Resend delivers my emails to you.
- ntfy sends alerts to my phone when you book or message me. These include your name and the first part of your message.
- Google Fonts provides the website's fonts, and the service-area map uses OpenStreetMap. These see your device's internet address when pages load, as any website would.
Cookies
The website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. When you sign in, Cloudflare sets a cookie that keeps you signed in.
Keeping it safe
Only you and I can see your account. Your house notes and private details are never shown to anyone else, and the website only accepts changes from people who are signed in.
Your choices
You can update your details and pets in your account at any time. If you'd like a copy of what I hold about you, or want it deleted, just ask and I'll take care of it.
